Benefits & Services
By joining JSMST, you can obtain essential information on meat industry, meat research through participation of meetings and events, and also from the journal “Shokuniku no Kagaku” published twice a year. It can also be used as a place for promoting communication and exchanging information with the experts.
Membership Levels & Dues
Professional – ¥4,000 annually
Any individual, who is active in any aspect of meat science and who displays an interest in supporting the objectives of JSMST, is eligible to become a professional member.
Student – ¥1,000 annually
Any individual actively pursuing candidacy for a degree (up to PhD) with a science or technology major associated with meat science.
Corporate – minimum ¥30,000 annually
Any company or organization that displays an interest in supporting the objectives of JSMST is eligible to become a corporate member.
Supporting member- minimum ¥60,000 annually
Those who supported the project of JSMST and donated a considerable amount.
Honorary member- no dues
Those who contributed to the Society, recommended by executives, approved at the general meeting.
